Voted the top comedian of 2009 by Humor Mill Magazine, Kevin Hart stars in his second solo stand-up performance live from Cleveland, Ohio. Seriously Funny features Kevin Hart performing in front of a sold out crowd at the Allen Theater where he delivers his hilarious and unique brand of comedy. In this unforgettable night of comedy, Kevin Hart is in rare form and funny as ever!

In a nutshell:

The first comedy video from him that we saw (Kevin Hart: I'm a Grown Little Man (2009)) was much funnier. In this one, he reused some of his material and wasn't that funny. There were some good ones here and there, loved the baby gestures and the grandpa, don't recall much else after that. Overall, it's good to watch once, and move on.

The nitty-gritty:

SPOILERS AHEAD

Overall the film was okay, it had it's moments where things were funny but if you saw the I'm a Grown Little Man and then you watch this one, you will notice he really used the same lines and content, he just kind of mixed them up. My favorite was the gestures about his baby boy. The baby gesture... classic! (hand waving in the air while you hear the child’s sound effects). I also thought it was funny when he shouted "Stop that! It's Gay!" or something around those lines, it was a total guy response and just overall funny. I think it could have been better, especially when he started talking about the driving scene, that was just brutal, I think he ran out of content and was milking the clock.

In a nutshell:

Too funny! His facial expressions and his tone of voice are really well done. Man pigeon... that was probably my favorite part.

The nitty-gritty:

Funny stuff, go check it out! I really didn't know about Kevin Hart until watching Get Hard. We found that he had some stand up comedy videos and man it was worth it. The way he expresses himself, his scenarios and just his laugh and smile are worth it. Very glad I watched this video, haven't laughed like that in a while.

SPOILERS AHEAD

I was surprised he brought his kids out in the end, that was awesome, not many folks do that, especially when he is there all up talking smack about them, respect man!

The part about the man pigeon (Ostrich) was just too funny!

I loved how he started to get scared and said the lines of:
"we really don't know what that means..."
and
"we don't know what he's trying to say"
and
"i' going to kill you and eat your kids"

But the title he gave it... "Man pigeon" TOO FUNNY! I feel like changing my pen name to Man Pigeon... yeah I liked it that much. Stop reading, go watch it!

When millionaire James King is jailed for fraud and bound for San Quentin, he turns to Darnell Lewis to prep him to go behind bars.

Image from: IMDB
Source IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2561572/

In a nutshell:

It seems like this movie isn't worth it, but trust me it is. I think Will Ferrell is kind of annoying in some cases (or most) but in this case, he's alright! There are just some scenes that are off the wall. The stuff they (primarily Kevin Hart) say and do, you thought about before, don't lie now! (If you watch it you will know what I mean).

The nitty-gritty:

This movie is straight up hilarious! Go watch it! Loved it!

Spoiler comments ahead, so be warned!

This movie is really cheesy but it's a comedy, what do you expect. There are going to be some scenes that are pretty basic and some jokes you have heard before, but Kevin Hart does a good job in explaining his stupid plans to the point where it makes perfect sense. I love how he goes from one lie to another, and James King (Ferrell) just eats all this up. Boys in the hood comment, hilarious!

Favorite scenes/and moments include the beanie. MAYO… HILARIOUS! The gay bar/restaurant scene was funny too, the restroom stall was totally unexpected but classic. When I think of this movie, I think of Mayo and that scene where the cat poster comes out, when you see it you will know what I mean and you ill think of this review or you might think of those pictures that say "When you see it you'll..."

Go watch it, it's pretty funny, well at least I liked it

In a nutshell:

This is classic Dragon Ball Z along with a dash of a fresh new style to it. This movie is very good in reintroducing you back into the Dragon Ball Z world, it finds the perfect spot to bring back the gang and surprise you with new characters. Overall, very fun movie with a surprise cast along the way.

The nitty-gritty:

I really enjoyed this, I was thinking it was going to blow super sand (inside joke) but it was pretty good. Sure... it wasn't over 9,000! but it was off the scales in my book. The animation was clean but at the same time retained some of it's old style. If you are a dragon ball fan, you have to check this out. I have seen all of the episodes and movies, and I was actually a little surprised that I missed this one, such is the way of life and being an adult, responsibilities just creep up on you.

Anyways, back to the movie. This brings back the entire cast and begins to lead you to the most current release of Dragon Ball Z - Resurrection of F. I am going to avoid spoilers as I am sure there are many other nerds that can't wait to go super sand and go insayan on you. Take my word on it, watch it and then go watch Resurrection F (I saw it in the theaters, review coming soon).

In case any of you have no idea what I am talking about, go watch Dragonzball P (yes it is a parody) but it is die hard hilarious, so stop acting dominion Virginia!

In the aftermath of a massive earthquake in California, a rescue-chopper pilot makes a dangerous journey with is ex-wife across the state in order to rescue his daughter

Image from IMDB
Source IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2126355/

In a nutshell:

This is a great movie to watch, very entertaining and pretty much non-stop action, totally worth it! Go watch it is my recommendation.

The nitty-gritty:

Let me start off by saying what a great job they did with the special effects, awesome job! The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) actually did pretty good. I haven’t seen that many of his other movies but I think he did a really good job. He can’t cry though, there was more than one scene where it was necessary to at least get his eyes to get all watery, shiny, glimmering and ready to burst into tears, or at last kind of red, but his face was like 😐 (All that was needed was the song "LIKE A ROCK" followed by a picture of a Toyota crushing a few rocks)

If you haven’t seen this movie, you should, yes some scenarios are cheesy and it gets you to say WTF really? Or noooo! GET OUT OF HERE! But overall it’s real good. I have to comment on the British guy and his brother, I forgot their names already, they were a good element to this movie. Usually kids are annoying as heck, *cough Jurassic world*, but the little kid was actually kind of cool, in fact he was a wing man! Far from LEGEN….Wait for it…DARY but he did good. Don’t get me started on Blake! Choooowww! Nice casting director! 10 thumbs up for you! (That's a fake metric score I just created by the way). Overall his was an awesome movie, I enjoyed it!
